Nicaragua
Three years ago we began a relationship with the impoverished community of Ameya Nicaragua. Our hope is to “Partner long term with Ameya to enrich lives holistically in the name of Jesus Christ.” So far this has happened through:
- Three different all church trips
- Several smaller individual trips
- Hosting a kitchen shower for their bakery
- Sending sporting equipment
- Helping to fund the teachers for their community development center
- Sending fire fighter gear
- Developing pen palls with our youth groups
- Helping to start a mini store at the church, etc.
For further information concerning Nicaragua check our churches web site here.
